Teenager Fillippe Chong rode to a stunning victory in this meeting and led the qualifiers for the GP Challenge Semi Finals ahead of wily old Carl Hooper who came close to adding yet
another title to his impressive list. Andrew Scott completed the rostrum places and Buck Bracey and Jason Isaacs also progressed to the next round of the GP competition.
Korey Pierce was unlucky to miss out on countback and Wynton Te-Huna was also unfortunate when suffering from bike problems in his third ride. The pair will now have to wait and
see if the GP Committee think either are worth a shot in one of the 2 Wild Card places for the next round of the qualifiers.
